Driftwood starts as living wood, strong, rooted, thriving. Then the ocean takes it. Waves batter it. Salt strips it. Sun bleaches it. The tide drags it across sand and stone.

The Problem
Most skincare is built on industrial seed oils. Sunflower. Safflower. Grapeseed. Sounds clean. It’s not.
Seed oils are high in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Those fatty acids are unstable. When UV light hits them, they oxidize. When they oxidize, they generate free radicals. Free radicals damage skin cells. Damage DNA. Some studies point to a possible link with skin cancer.
This isn’t fringe science. It’s basic chemistry that the skincare industry hopes you never look up.
Even the “natural” brands are full of it. Check the ingredients on your expensive clean beauty products. Odds are seed oils are in the first five.

We source ours from regenerative farms. Grass-fed, grass-finished. Rendered and poured by hand in small batches. I test everything myself first. If it holds up, my surf buddy tries it. If he’s good, it goes to market. Nothing ships until I’ve used it enough to stand behind it.
